Steve Witherden attended a sustainable farming presentation at Welshpool Livestock Market the other week, as a new poll commissioned by the Country Land and Business Association shows Labour leading the Tories in rural communities.
37% of adults in the 100 most rural seats in the country said they planned to vote for Labour, increasing from 17% in 2019.
If elected, Steve will work with Labour governments – whether in Cardiff Bay, Westminster, or both – to deliver on the most important issues for farmers and other rural voters, including getting our communities better connected and working to make farming more sustainable and productive.
