Montgomeryshire and Glyndŵr candidate Steve Witherden and Welshpool Town Councillor David France have volunteered at the Council Community Hub, pledging to continue support for the invaluable work the hub does for the town.

Steve commented: “We have just spent the last few hours volunteering at the Welshpool Town Council Community Hub, myself and Councillor Dave France.

“It is absolutely brilliant to see the amazing work these guys do in our community, and to hear their story about how they started from nothing and just grown and grown and really serve the community fantastically well.

“It is a little bit depressing to think that a lot of the problems that they’re having to pick up the slack with have been caused by Trussonomics and a Tory cost of living crisis.

“If I was elected MP I would do everything in my power to ensure that these guys had all the resources they need to function and go on firing on all cylinders.”
