Steve Witherden was out meeting voters in Chirk last weekend, listening to their concerns for the area, many of which he personally shares as a resident of Acrefair just ten minutes up the road.

One of the main points raised on the doorstep was the Kronospan wood processing plant. Steve commented: “Residents in Chirk are right to be frustrated with the continued spreading of dust from the Kronospan wood processing plant.

“If elected, I will work with the company to bring about solutions to the problem, but also be willing to demand community compensation of the issue continues.”
